Translating Research into MCH Public Health Practice: The Role of Evaluation
May 17-18, 2004
The Maternal and Child Health Leadership Conference Planning Committee is now
accepting abstracts online for the May 2004
conference in Chicago, Illinois. The roundtable discussions with poster presentations
will take place Monday, May 17, 2004 (10:15 am-11:45 am). The theme of the conference
is Translating Research into MCH Public Health Practice: The Role of Evaluation.
Guidelines for Preparing Abstracts
The conference planning committee encourages both MCH professionals and students
to submit abstracts directly related to the
conference theme.
Abstracts and posters should describe an innovative MCH program and must
provide evaluation findings.
Abstracts must be limited to 200 words or less and can only be submitted
online. If you are unable to submit an abstract online, please
contact the Conference Coordinator at 312-996-2875 or kygupta@uic.edu.
Please indicate whether the primary author is an MCH professional or student,
and complete all other background information.
Each abstract should include a title and listing of all authors and their
agency/academic affiliation.
The following sections should be included in the body of the abstract: 1)
Introduction, 2) Methods, 3) Results, 4) Conclusions/Implications for future
research and/or MCH public health practice.
