KEYNOTE ADDRESS: Lost in Translation: How Do We Increase the Return on Investment From Research?
Dr. Lisa Simpson from the Division of Child Health Outcomes at the University of South Florida Department of Pediatrics will challenge the audience to think about their effectiveness at using research to improve MCH public health practice and provide an overview of recent frameworks and research findings for understanding and improving the application of new knowledge to policy and program practice.

Plenary I: Practice-Based Intervention to Improve the Quality of Pediatric Care: Results From the Healthy Steps for Young Children Evaluation. Donna Strobino, Department of Population and Family Health Sciences, Bloomberg School of Public Health, the Johns Hopkins University. Moderator: Jerry Niederman, MD, MPH, Division of General and Emergency Pediatrics, Department of Pediatrics, University of Illinois at Chicago.

The Hyatt Lodge is located 20 miles from downtown Chicago and is ideally situated between the O’Hare and Midway airports. Airport Express Shuttle serves the Hyatt Lodge from the O’Hare Airport. Conference participants traveling into and out of Midway Airport may choose can use Omega to transport yourself from Midway to O’Hare.
