Help for Live Broadcast Problems
View the video on as high a resolution monitor that you can. The best resolution is at 1024 by 768, High Color (16 bit).
You may experience periods with an absence of sound (audio). This may be due to web or net congestion. During these periods you may see a "net congestion rebuffering" message on your RealPlayer. This is due to periods of high Internet traffic in your building or area. Do not get upset, just wait and the sound will return. This is the nature of the Internet.
During the live broadcast you should "refresh" or "reload" the browser periodically so that you can see late-breaking messages we may post to the web site. This re-loading will not affect your Player. The Player will still continue playing the broadcast.
If you want to watch the speaker's slides during the broadcast simply find the slideshow associated with the session, click on it and view. This will not interrupt your player. If you have difficulty seeing the slides due to slow download times you can view the text version by clicking on the "A" button in the slideshow.
If you see the "stopped" message from the player then hit the play button again on the player. If that doesn't work then cose the player, go back to the original link to the player from the web site and click again on thatlink which will start the player again. If you still get nothing then the broadcast line may be down. Wait a few minutes and try again.
