SPRANS Community-based Abstinence Education Grants

• Public Law 106-246, the “Military Construction Appropriations Act of 2001,” appropriated $20 million to the Health Resources and Services Administration for the MCH Block Grant’s Federal Set-Aside Program -- which supports Special Projects of Regional and National Significance (SPRANS) -- earmarked to fund community-based abstinence education project grants for FY 2001.
