Quantitative Biomedical Sciences Program Launches New Web Site

The Quantitative Biomedical Sciences Program announces the launching of its new Web site at http://www.uic.edu/sph/quantprogram.

The mission of the Quantitative Biomedical Sciences Program is to provide biostatistical, epidemiological, and data management support throughout the research process and particularly at the proposal-writing stage. The program facilitates development of new quantitative methodologies in biomedical sciences, including the fields of bioinformatics and decision sciences as well as biostatistics and epidemiology.

The program integrates and addresses gaps in the quantitative methodological expertise on campus that is needed to conduct biomedical research. It supports the Health Science Deans’ Council goal of increasing the number of externally funded biomedical research projects undertaken at UIC.

Health sciences faculty are encouraged to take advantage of the services the Quantitative Biomedical Sciences Program can provide them.
