SPH Professor’s Work Named Time Magazine’s #1 Medical Breakthrough of 2007Research conducted by UIC School of Public Health professor of epidemiology Robert Bailey is referenced in Time magazine as the #1 medical breakthrough of 2007. Bailey’s research, published earlier this year in the Lancet, found that medical circumcision of men reduces their risk of acquiring HIV during heterosexual intercourse.
