Joyce Love Dies: CeaseFire Assistant Director Fought Violence To Curb Shootings In Chicago Neighborhoods A friend of the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health, Joyce Love, 57, died Thursday at her home in Hyde Park of complications from cancer. She was assistant director and an originator of CeaseFire, a violence prevention initiative at the UIC SPH.
