International Night Celebrates Diversity at SPHSchool of Public Health students, faculty, and staff are as diverse as the countries and people public health serves around the world. March 4, 2005 will mark the continuation of a long-standing School of Public Health tradition that celebrates diversity with a gala evening of international cuisine, customs, music, dance, and native dress.
The 27th Annual International Night event will feature an international buffet, entertainment provided by student groups, and games and activities for adults and children. Proceeds from a silent auction with gift items from Chicago businesses will benefit the American Red Cross International Relief Fund to aid Tsunami relief efforts, as well as the International Student Aid Fund, which provides emergency funds to the school’s international students in need.
All are welcome, and native dress is encouraged.
Location: School of Public Health Activity Room, 1603 West Taylor Street, Chicago. Time: 5:30-10:30PM.
