PUBLIC HEALTH INFORMATICS (PHI) CREDIT NON-DEGREE PROGRAM

Each semester, the UIC School of Public Health offers a limited number of students the opportunity to enroll with Credit Non-Degree (CND) status. The CND program offers the following advantages:

  • An introduction to the content, relevance, and presentation of either the MPH or the Certificate Program

  • A jump start into the MPH or Certificate Program in a given semester, even after an application deadline has passed

  • The opportunity for professionals to take one or two specific classes for career enhancement

All Public Health Informatics courses are available to Credit Non-Degree students. This list can be viewed under Course Descriptions. Up to 12 semester hours of credit can be transferred toward the MPH degree on the condition that the student is accepted into the MPH program. It is important to note that acceptance into the Credit Non-Degree Program does not guarantee acceptance into the MPH Program.
