Green Office Challenge /Get Started

If you think your office should participate in the Green Office Challenge, the first thing to do is to gauge interest amongst your colleagues and office leadership.  If your colleagues are interested, and that office leadership would support participation, then start by registering your office.

Participating in the Green Office Challenge is Simple

1. Register your office, if this is the first time participating.
2. Assess your baseline score using the Green Office Challenge checklist.
3. Follow the implementation guide along the suggested timeline.
4. Get recognized for your achievements.

All Challenge participants receive a personalized Green Office Challenge participation poster to display publicly in their main office space for employees and visitors to see. 

Challenge participants will also be able to attach a web badge to their website so that online visitors will be aware of the green steps that the office is taking.  

The Office of Sustainability will be recognizing participating offices and their achievements in a variety of newsletters and e-publications as well!
