UnPlug!
Unplug! is UIC’s energy conservation campaign that will challenge the campus community to make a commitment to reduce its energy consumption by 2% this academic year by personal behavioral actions alone.
Each month over the course of the 2009-2010 academic year, the Office of Sustainability will provide opportunities for the campus community to take action and bring their personal energy consumption down. The hope is that through these personal actions, both on campus and at home, we will see large-scale savings in energy consumption (including financial costs) and greenhouse gas emissions.
