Minor in Asian Studies

The minor in Asian Studies is an interdisciplinary course of study that focuses on East, Southeast, and South Asia. Courses offered in Asian Studies allow students to gain familiarity with the history, cultures, and societies of these regions. Asian Studies minors will acquire the background they need for a deeper understanding of Asia, both as a region in itself and as a major part of the emerging global context.

Requirements for the Minor

Students wishing to minor in Asian Studies must complete 15 semester hours, at least 8 of which must be at the 200-level or above. The courses used to complete the minor should comply with the following requirements:
