On Thursday, January 20, 2011, UIC hosted a Financial Aid Webinar. Panelists provided viewers with pertinent information on acquiring financial aid in the form of grants, scholarships and work studies.
The webinar was designed for anyone thinking of attending UIC or any other Illinois University.
A one-hour question and answer session followed the panel presentation. Featured panelists included Gloria Purifoy, College and Career Specialist at Chicago Public Schools, and Timothy Opgenorth, Director of Financial Aid at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
