Safety Introduction

Our responsibilities for safety as part of the UIC community: It is important that each of us remember that, in conjunction with the protection we receive from the campus police, we must take responsibility for our own safety and the safety of others by taking advantage of security awareness programs. Further, we must assist the campus police by promptly and accurately reporting any and all criminal acts, dangerous situations, or suspicious behavior.
