The Illinois State Police maintain a database of all registered sex offenders in Illinois that you can access using the Web. To learn the identity of registered sex offenders on or near any of the University of Illinois campuses, or anywhere in Illinois, visit the Sex Offender Database. Once there, you can search by city, county, or zip code. The University of Illinois at Chicago has three different campus sites: Chicago, Rockford and Peoria. Chicago is located in Cook County and the zip codes covering the areas where the campus buildings are located include 60606, 60607, 60608, and 60612. Rockford is located in Winnebago County and the zip code for that site is 61107-1897. Peoria is located in Peoria County and the zip code for that site is 61605.

The Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act of 2000 (CSCPA) is a federal law that provides for the tracking of convicted sex offenders enrolled at or employed by institutions of higher education. CSCPA requires the State Police to make this information promptly available to institutions of higher education where a registered sex offender is either enrolled or employed. It further requires colleges and universities to issue a statement advising the campus community where the information provided by the State Police may be obtained.

In compliance with this law, Illinois State police has supplied the University of Illinois at Chicago with the following information about registered sex offenders who are either enrolled or employed by the University at the following sites:
