The resident will be required to initiate and conduct a drug information-related research project. During the course of the year, the resident will prepare a manuscript, drug monograph, and several other writing projects.

The program's first resident was accepted during the 2014-2015 year, and the residency has been granted candidate accreditation status by ASHP.

A Doctor of Pharmacy degree and completion of an accredited PGY1 residency are required. Illinois licensure is required within 60 days of residency initiation. The appointment will be for 12 months beginning July 1, 2015. A competitive salary and benefits package is offered.
